VIJAYAWADA: The Special Officer and competent authority, Urban Land Ceiling, has said that the last date for getting concession in interest payment with regard to regularisation of encroached urban ceiling lands has been extended from June 15 to July 15. In a press release issued here on Wednesday, the Special Officer said that there would be 50 per cent concession on the amount to be paid additionally by landlords as per the GO No. 456. At the rate of 10 per cent increase per year on land value, the landlords would have to pay 30 per cent additionally. A concession of 50 per cent was being offered on this. The Special Officer further said that there would be a two-fold increase in regularisation rates from July 1. There would be no concession on interest from July 15.
