Manmeet, Himanshu enter semifinals

NEW DELHI: Manmeet Singh and Himanshu were stretched but eventually made their way to the men's singles semifinals of the Tirath Ram memorial badminton tournament at the New Era Public School, Maya Puri, here.

The results (quarterfinals): Men: Tanvir Gill bt Ashwani Kumar 15-9, 15-7; Rajiv Bajaj bt Bhuvan 17-14, 15-5; Himanshu bt Vaibhav Gupta 11-15, 15-6, 15-0; Manmeet Singh bt Mayank Garg 15-9, 13-15, 15-4.

Boys: Under-10: Rohan Kapoor bt Yakshup Sehgal 15-6, 15-5; Geet Gulati bt Pranav Tyagi 15-0, 15-0; Pramod bt Rishab 15-6, 15-0; Yash bt Pranay Arya 15-6, 15-1.
