UDHAGAMANDALAM: Loans to the tune of Rs. 12 crores was proposed to be given through various banks to 600 self-help groups in the Nilgiris during the current year, the Collector, C. Vijayaraj Kumar, said here on Tuesday. He was speaking at a `Customer Meet' organised by the Udhagamandlam branch of UCO Bank. He distributed loans to the tune of Rs. 23 lakhs sponsored by the bank. He also inaugurated an ATM of the branch.
