District buses to halt at city bus stops

Signboards indicating city stages will be displayed on buses: official

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Ranga Reddy region has decided to halt ordinary and express district buses to stop en route at city bus stages for convenience of passengers at city/metro fares.

In all, 122 express buses with metro fares and 75 ordinary buses will halt at the city stages beginning July 1.

Signboards indicating the city stages will be displayed on the buses and the `Travel as you like' tickets will be sold in district buses for those coming to the city, according to the Regional Manager, S. Nagaraju, in a press release.

Route No.1: Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) to Langar Houz route - Langar Houz, Mehdipatnam, Masab Tank, Lakdikapul, Telephone Bhavan, Nampally, Gandhi Bhavan, Afzalgunj & City Library.

Route No.2: Dilsukhnagar to MGBS - Dilsukhnagar and Nalgonda crossroads.

Route No.3: MGBS to Uppal - Ramanathapur, Uppal ring road, Uppal terminus and Uppal depot.

Route No.4 MGBS to Thukkuguda - MGBS, Nalgonda crossroads, IS Sadan, Midhani crossroads, Pahadi Sharif and Thukkuguda.

Route No.5: MGBS to Hayatnagar - Nalgonda crossroads, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet, LB Nagar and Panama.

Route No.6: MGBS to Patancheru - Afzalgunj, Gandhi Bhavan/Nampally, Lakdikapul, Telephone Bhavan, Punjagutta, S.R. Nagar, Erragadda, KP village and KPHB colony.

Route No.7: MGBS to AG College - Madina, Police Quarters, Petlaburj, Bahadurpura and Zoo Park.

Route No.8: MGBS to Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) to Hakimpet - Afzalgunj, Gandhi Bhavan, Nampally, Secretariat, JBS, Lal Bazar, Alwal and Hakimpet.

Route No.9 - MGBS to Medchal - Afzalgunj, Gandhi Bhavan, Nampally, Secretariat, JBS, Bowenpally, Jeedimetla and Kompally.

Route. No. 10: JBS to Uppal - Sangeeth theatre, Mettuguda, Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Uppal crossroads and Uppal depot.

Additional services

Also, the city region will launch following additional services on July 1.

Two additional single trips for bus no.102 - Ghousenagar (first bus 9.55 a.m.) to Indira Park (last bus 11.10 p.m.). Three ordinary services for bus no.192 from KPHB IV (first bus 6.40 a.m.) to Mehdipatnam (last bus 8.35 p.m.) via Hafeezpet, Kondapur, Shilparamam, Hi-tec City, Jubilee Hills checkpost, Apollo Hospitals, Masab Tank with an average frequency of one hour.

Two ordinary services for Bus No.9 from Jeedimetla/Balanagar (first bus 7.20 a.m.) to Koti via Sanatnagar, Erragadda, Ameerpet, Lakdikapul and Abids (last bus 12.05 a.m).
