Skill development

The Small Industries Service Institute will conduct a one-week skill development programme on manufacturing detergent powder, cleaning powder, white phenyl, black phenyl, wax candles, liquid detergent from July 4 at the institute's premises in Rajajinagar. St. Peter's Day

The Old Cottonians Association of the Bishop Cotton Boys School celebrated St. Peter's Day here on Wednesday. Speaking at the function, Abraham Ebenezer, school principal, said, "We have the privilege of gathering the entire family of Cottons, past and present here today. A lamp can never light another, unless it continues to burn its own flame." Bishop Vasanth Kumar, chairman of the Bishop Cotton School, spoke.

Yoga camp

An eco-friendly website on Lalbagh Botanical Garden will be launched in August, according to G.K. Vasanth Kumar, Director, Department of Horticulture.

The website will provide information on the history and other details of Lalbagh and the methods that can be adopted to create an eco-friendly environment
