Barista Coffee to open eating joints
CHENNAI:
Barista Coffee Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sterling Infotech Group, is changing its positioning from a premium retail coffee outlet to that of an eating joints, which will be serving pre-cooked quick-bites along with other beverages. Partha Dattagupta, Chief Executive Officer, Barista Coffee Company, said that the change in positioning was mainly to increase the clientele range from young college-goers to young professionals. Mr. Dattagupta said Barista was also diversifying its hot beverages menu and introducing several specialty teas.
