SANGLI: Top seed Supriya Maji of West Bengal and Alka Das of Jharkhand drew their 10th round game of the 32nd National women's `B' chess tournament here on Thursday. On top three boards all six players agreed for safe draws without taking chances. Supriya and Alka shared a point each and lead the tournament with 7.5 points apiece. Mahima Rajmohan of Tamil Nadu opened with Guico-Piano opening against Andhra Pradesh's I. Ramya Krishna. In the opening Mahima had an advantage but she committed a blunder on the 17th move and lost a pawn. Ramya won the game comfortably. J. E. Kavitha of Tamil Nadu opened with king pawn against Sicilian Najdorf of L. Iswarya Shobana. Shobana's blundered on the 17th move and lost a pawn. Kavita won in 58 moves. The results: Supriya Maji (7.5) drew with Alka Das (7.5), Soumya Swaminathan (7) drew with Amruta Mokal (6.5), S. Nabeela Farheen (6.5) drew with H. Soumya (7), Mahima Rajmohan (6) lost to I. Ramya Krishna (7), Swati Mohota (6.5) drew with C. Delphin (6.5), J.E. Kavitha (7) bt L. Iswarya Shobana (6), M.R. Sangeetha (6.5) drew with P. Sivasankari (6.5), Monisha Mohanty (6) drew with Bhakti Kulkarni (6), Baisakhi Das (6) bt Rucha Pujari (5.5), Pragna Patavi (6) bt P. Uthra (5). PTI
