Reception for Chennithala

ALAPPUZHA: The Alappuzha DCC is organising a reception to the KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala here on Friday, the DCC president C. R. Jayaprakash has said.

This will be Mr. Chennithala's first visit to his home district after he took charge as the president of the KPCC recently.

Mr. Chennithala will arrive at the Alappuzha DCC office by 4.30 p.m. From there, he would be taken to the Alappuzha Municipal Ground in a procession through the Mullakkal street. Mr. Chennithala would address a meeting at the Municipal Ground. DCC president C. R. Jayaprakash would preside over the meeting. Those who would speak at the meeting include the Congress leaders Vayalar Ravi, Thennala Balakrishna Pillai, Ministers, K. C. Venugopal, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and former Ministers, M. M. Hassan and V. M. Sudheeran.
