Purchase preference policy extended

NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet on Thursday decided to extend the purchase preference policy (PPP) for products and services of Central public sector enterprises by a further period of three years, up to March 31, 2008, with certain modifications to the rules. The PPP would be extended only for contracts worth up to Rs. 100 crore.
