Credit cards to come under Ombudsman
MUMBAI:
The RBI has proposed amendment to the Banking Ombudsman Scheme (BOS) to include customer complaints relating to credit cards, the central bank said in its draft B0S released on Thursday for public comments. It has also proposed inclusion of delays in rendering customer service in payment or non-payment of inward remittances, execution of request for remittance, delays in issuing of demand drafts, pay orders or bankers cheques under the purview of BOS.
