RAJAHMUNDRY: A.A. Khan took the charge as new Asset Manager of ONGC here on Thursday. Addressing a meeting held in this connection, he said that he would make the Rajahmundry project a unique one in entire ONGC operations in the country by completing time-bound projects like G-1 and GS-15. He reiterated his mission of making Rajahmundry the best Asset of ONGC. Mr. Khan said that the existing capacity of Tatipaka Refinery would be doubled in a specified timeframe. He stressed the need for introducing latest technologies in all the areas of activities. This included use of the latest generation drilling fluids like non-damaging drilling fluids and KCL Polymer lignite mud systems for better hole stability and optimal Oil/Gas production.
Latest technology
High technology wells like Re-entry wells, high angle wells, horizontal and lateral wells would be drilled. Mr. Khan took over from C. Lal who retired on superannuating after 36 years of service in ONGC.
