CHENNAI: : The final phase of the Tamil Nadu State senior men's basketball championship, for the Rajapalayam Trophy, will be held at the Kamala Subramaniam School ground, Thanjavur, between August 24 and 28. The City Zone competition, involving Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Tiruvannamalai and Villupuram district clubs, will be conducted at the JJ indoor stadium here from August 19 to 21. The Mofussil Zone contests, for all the other districts, are to be organised at Thanjavur between August 22 and 24. Eight qualifiers each from City and Mofussil zones and last year's eight quarterfinalists will be in the fray for the final phase. The women's championship for the Dharmambal Trophy is to be held at Thanjavur from August 25 to 28.
