KSEB strengthens volleyball team

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has decided to appoint nine sportspersons, including six women volleyball players. Those being appointed to strengthen the volleyball team are Aswini S. Kumar, K.T. Betsy, Preethi U. Kartha, Annita Mathew, M.K. Prajeesha and P.M. Hasina, all members of the State side which won the National women's title in Chennai earlier this year, after a gap of 19 years.

The other three who have been identified for appointment in the Board are T.G. Purushothaman, Noushad Pari and T.V. Biju Kumar. — Special Correspondent
