HUBLI: K.V. Gagandeep, Police Commissioner, said on Thursday that the Commissionerate here has prepared a list of 14 persons involved in unlawful activities, including distilling and selling illicit liquor, against whom it intends to book cases under the Goonda (Prevention) Act. Addressing presspersons here, Mr. Gagandeep said the Commissionerate has collected evidence to book cases against them. However, it wants to give them an opportunity to reform themselves, he said. If those in the list indulge in any unlawful activity, they will be arrested and booked under the Goonda (Prevention) Act immediately, he said. On the suspension of the Inspector of the Kamaripet Police Station, Basannavar, the Commissioner said that he has been suspended for dereliction of duty.
