Pradeep's effort in vain

NEW DELHI: A five-wicket bag by Pradeep Kumar proved inadequate as Ahlcon Public School beat Arya Academy by 25 runs in the Ahlcon Trophy under-17 cricket tournament at the Yamuna Sports Complex here.

The scores: Ahlcon PS, Mayur Vihar 178 for eight in 35 overs (Rohit Uniyal 73, Himanshu Kumar 49, Pradeep Kumar five for 27) beat Arya Academy 153 in 30.2 overs (Naveen Kumar 56, Rohit Uniyal four for 30, Manish Adhikari three for 20).
