Indian Airlines has it easy
NEW DELHI:
Indian Airlines defeated Dena Bank by eight wickets in the final of the DDCA Hot Weather cricket tournament at the Jamia Millia Islamia ground here on Thursday.
Dena Bank elected to bat but managed only 106. Ranchal Choudhury top scored with 34 while Rajat Bhatia (3/8) and Ishan Ganda (3/19) bowled well for Indian Airlines.
Bhatia, who also scored an unbeaten 40, was adjudged the `man of the match.'
The scores: Dena Bank 106 in 33.5 overs lost to Indian Airlines 107 for two in 25 overs (Rohit Prakash 49 not out, Rajat Bhatia 40 not out).
