NEW DELHI:
The Asian Tour has signed an agreement with the Indian Golf Union, which will ensure that the Indian Open tournament is safe on the Asian calendar for at least the next three years.
This means the Indian Open is back on the calendar for the latter half of 2005. The event, which was scheduled for March, will now be held from October 27 to 30.
The Indian Open will be one of the 13 events in the second half of the 2005, which saw 15 events with the inaugural Brunei Open being the last of the first half of the season. PTI
