BCCI to utilise Krebs' services

Kolkata: Acting on the advice of Indian team coach Greg Chappell, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has decided to utilise the services of internationally renowned human physical and mental movement expert Dr Charles Krebs in the conditioning camp now underway in Bangalore.

Disclosing this, the BCCI joint secretary, Goutam Dasgupta, said in a statement that Krebs had done brilliant research on treatment of soft tissue injuries in Germany and was also proficient in the area of mental performance.

Dr. Krebs would attend the camp from July 3 to 6 initially, and his services would be utilised again as the year advances. — PTI
