COIMBATORE: Jet Airways, Coimbatore station, has bagged the in-house award for customer satisfaction and highest passenger appreciation. Talking to The Hindu , the Station Manager of Jet Airways, Coimbatore, S. Venkat, said that the award for 2004-05 has been given to Coimbatore-based on passenger feedback on various service parameters. Coimbatore bagged the award in the airports with less than four services a day category and had emerged successful after competing with more than 30 airports. Coimbatore has been bagging this award after a gap of eight years. The Chief Executive Officer of Jet Airways, Wolfgang Brock-Schauer, and Chief Operating Officer, Peter Lueithi, presented the award in the presence of vice-president Rajesh Varma and General Manager (Airport Services), Charles Soon. The parameters for choosing a station for the award was based on no complaints from passengers right from checking in to disembarking and words of appreciation received from passengers flying into and out of Coimbatore.
