BHOPAL: The executive committee of the Madhya Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party passed a resolution on Friday condemning the All-India Muslim Personal Law Board's fatwa on Imrana, who was allegedly raped by her father-in-law in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Briefing newspersons, State BJP general secretary Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan said the resolution condemning AIMPLB's edict, which was moved by the chairman of the minorities' cell Kamal Bhai, was adopted and passed by the State party executive. The new executive began its first session with the lighting of the traditional lamp by party president L.K. Advani.
