ANANTAPUR: Four persons were killed in two mishaps in the State on Sunday. According to police, Bala Chinna Narasimhulu (45) and Mahesh (17), died on the spot, when the van in which they were travelling overturned near Reddypalli village in Nallamada mandal of the district on Sunday. The accident occurred when the driver of the hired van was negotiating a sharp curve. Twelve persons were injured in the mishap. In Kurnool, two persons died in a road accident near Neravada under K. Nagalapuram police station limits on Sunday, when a lorry carrying slab stones hit a culvert after its tyre burst. The deceased were identified as M. Balanna (40) and B. Narayana (35).
