KOCHI: The Kerala State Housing Board (KSHB) has sold 28 flats at Thrikkakara during the auction held from June 15 to June 30. The sale of property has brought in an amount of Rs.8.37 crores for the Board. Out of the total of 84 flats in four blocks, 55 flats have been sold out so far. According to R.K. Ravindranathan, Regional Engineer, KSHB, there was a high demand for the flats during the auction. There are 29 more flats left in the Thrikkakara complex, which will be up for sale at the next auction on July 7 at the rate of Rs. 809 a square feet. Of the 29, 22 are two-bedroom flats costing Rs. 14.29 lakh and seven are three-bedroom flats costing Rs. 15.95 lakhs. The auction will be held at the Board's Regional Office at Panampilly Nagar. An amount of Rs.25,000 should be deposited before the auction. After the sale deed is finalised at the auction, the buyer needs to pay up 15 per cent of the amount and rest in a month.
