Four 'auto-lifters' nabbed
Three stolen vehicles were recovered at their instance. Acting on a tip-off that two criminals would come towards Prem Nagar on a stolen motorcycle, a patrol team laid a trap and arrested them. They were identified as Puneet and Vinod. The motorcycle was found stolen from Rohini. During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in at least four auto-lifting cases. At their instance, the police recovered two more stolen vehicles and arrested their two accomplices, Sudhir and Narender. The police all the accused are below 20 years of age.
Mango festival
concludes
The two-day event was organised by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation. The festival attracted thousands of mango lovers who thronged the venue admiring the array of dishes made of mango and the exhibition of over 500 varieties of the fruit. Mango cooked with prawn, chicken and a variety of meats as well as mango desserts were the eye catchers of the show.
