KOCHI: The capacity of the Ammonium Perchlorate Experimental Plant of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) at Aluva will be enhanced from 200 tonnes a day to 800 tonnes a day. The expansion project costing of Rs.15 crores will be completed by September, ISRO Chairman G. Madhavan Nair said on Monday at a press meet organised in connection with the launch of Village Resource Centres in association with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Dr. Madhavan Nair, who was on a visit to the plant to review the expansion programme, said most of the work with regard to the expansion has been completed.
