This Day That Age
It is 25 years since the Madras Cricket Association was started and to mark the silver jubilee this year, the authorities are making elaborate preparations. An influential committee with Mr. M.A. Chidambaram has been formed for the purpose. It is also proposed to bring out a commemorative volume on the occasion. Besides the visit by a foreign team, if any, a festival cricket match is to be staged. Prominent Indian players are expected to take part in this match.
