Letters to the Editor
The five Telangana Rashtra Samithi Ministers who resigned from the Rajasekhara Reddy Government seem to have played into the hands of anti-Telangana forces. Achieving statehood needs a sustained, long-term strategy and a consensus among all major political parties. Moreover it is not a matter on which the State can decide. It is now for K. Chandrasekhara Rao to act pragmatically if Telangana is to become a reality. He should remain part of the UPA Government at the Centre and impress upon the Congress leadership that Telangana is an electoral promise of the TRS.
