HUBLI: "Tamanna," a school for spastic children situated opposite Railway English Medium High School, was inaugurated on Tuesday by Trilok Nath Perti, General Manager, South Western Railway Zone. The school is run by the South Western Railway Women's Welfare Organisation. It has specially trained staff who cater to the needs of children who are mentally challenged and those who have multiple disabilities. K.D. Mainrai, Divisional Railway Manager, Hubli Division; B.B. Modgil, Chief Mechanical Engineer; Abraham Jacob, Chief Operations Manager; and other senior officers were present. Bina Perti, president of the welfare organisation, inaugurated "Little Kingdom," a nursery school and play home. The school is managed by Arti Joshi, Joint Secretary, and Charu Vipin Kumar, Executive Member of the organisation.
