BELGAUM: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) (Rural) district president, Eranna Kadadi, said there are no differences between party members in the district and described the rebellion by Abhay Kumar Patil, MLA and other young party members such as Shankargouda Patil and M.B. Jirli as emotional outbursts under external influences. He said the request made by former MLA, Manohar Kadolkar and Sanjay Patil to join BJP was before the party's State committee. He said the party's disciplinary committee was looking into charges of corruption and cross voting in favour of Liquor Merchant Vijay Mallya during the last the Rajya Sabha polls. Mr. Patil and his supporters had demanded the removal of Mr. Kadadi and alleged that the party's Lok Sabha member from Belgaum, Suresh C. Angadi of taking unilateral decisions on matters of common interest.
