Two ULFA militants injured, one nabbed
SIBSAGAR (ASSAM):
Two ULFA militants were injured while another nabbed during an encounter in Upper Assam's Sibsagar district on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off that a group of militants were hiding inside Koliari forest area under Gaurisagar police station, the police and the CRPF launched an operation.
The militants opened fire and the security forces retaliated in which two militants injured and another was nabbed.
Heavy exchange of fire was still continuing and the entire area around the forest has been cordoned off, the police said. — PTI
