ANANTAPUR: Love affair proved costly for Pothulaiah alias Srikanth, the former commander of the Ramagiri dalam of the CPI (Maoist), who was sincere and hard working. The party suspended him before his surrender here on Wednesday, as he was in love with a dalam member and had even planned to get married, without the consent of the party. "My miscalculation about the woman dalam member's stint with the party proved costly as it ended my four-year good work," Pothulaiah explained, when asked why he had to quit the party. He had even planned to get married thinking that she was into the party for more than a year, which was a precondition for marriage in the party. However, the party had held that that she was not that old and had said `no' to their marriage and had taken disciplinary action against him for his misadventure.
