NEW DELHI: In the run up to Prime Minister Minister Manmohan Singh's forthcoming visit to the U.S., the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) has called for revision of the Double Taxation Avoidance Treaty, signing of a Totalisation Agreement on double taxation of social security and a Framework Treaty for free trade in the services sector. The chamber has finalised a five-point agenda for commercial interaction with the U.S. administration during the visit. In a statement issued here on Wednesday IACC President Ranjit Sen has said economic co-operation between India and the U.S. is at an all time high with the signing of a series of pacts like aviation agreement, defence pact and restoration of GSPs (generalised system of preferences) on some products.
