Guntur
Staff Reporter
GUNTUR: To curb irregularities in the Registrar's Office in the district, the Guntur unit of the Lok Satta has arranged to supply various registration forms to the public free of cost for a month. According to Lok Satta Guntur unit president, Konda Sivarami Reddy, the Government's guidelines were clear and it had released forms long ago. But some middlemen, who thrive around the Registrar's Office, were misleading people by charging money to fill forms and officials were not taking steps to make the proforma available, alleged Mr. Reddy. The Lok Satta would make all types of forms freely available at its office in 15/1, Arundulpet. The forms could be also collected from photostat/xerox centre by paying a nominal charge. This would help people without role of middlemen.
