The British Cabinet is considering a plan to end the Cyprus dispute by providing for direct Greek and Turkish representation in the island's administration. According to reports in London, the plan is for a three-power high council, composed of the British Governor and assisted by Greek and Turkish deputies, to administer Cyprus under the British Crown. This is one of several proposals which may be considered at the proposed Greek-Turkish-British conference in London in August.
