Chess
MANGALORE: SVS English School, Vidyagiri, in association with Derik's Chess School, Mangalore, will be organising a two-day State youth chess festival 2005 from Saturday at the School premises. About 100 players from all over the State including FIDE rated players such as Vikram Saralaya (Udupi), Vishwas Saralaya (Udupi), Viani D'Cunha, Gahan, Prajwal D'Silva and Prakash V. Rao (all from Mangalore), Nisha Patkar (Shimoga), Satvik (Bangalore), Yashas (Shimoga) have confirmed their participation.
