ANANTAPUR: Students of the Government Medical College here under the aegis of the Undergraduate Students' Association on Thursday launched an indefinite relay hunger strike demanding that the State Government post teachers to the college on regular basis instead of sending them on deputation. Speaking at the relay fast camp at the medical college the association president, S. Kuldeep, and the general secretary, T. Balaji, stated that the Government had sent 20 professors and associate professors, mostly from the Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, on a three-month deputation to the college here.
