`Tsunami victims yet to get aid'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Chavara MLA, Shibu Baby John, has expressed his anguish over the Government's failure in providing relief to the tsunami victims in his constituency even six months after they had lost their houses and belongings in the calamity in December last year.
In a submission in the Assembly on Thursday, he said 38 families of Panmana and Kovilthottam areas of his constituency, whose houses were destroyed by tsunami, were yet to be rehabilitated. Two Ministers had visited the area following the calamity, but the assistance they had promised were yet to materialise.
