BANGALORE: The Committee for Overseeing the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Association of Private Professional Colleges has asked the Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association to issue fresh merit lists in both medical and engineering disciplines. The committee conducted a random check of the Optical Mark Readers (OMRs) in the entrance test and found discrepancies in some papers. Sobha Nambisan, Secretary, Education, and Member Secretary of the committee, said the association has undertaken to revalue the chemistry paper and issue fresh merit lists in medicine and engineering. The committee has asked colleges to await the fresh merit lists and approval by the committee.
