BANGALORE: The Additional Advocate-General of the State, K.R. Nagaraja, 63, died here on Thursday following a heart attack. He was based in New Delhi and was on a visit to Bangalore. He is survived by his wife and a daughter. Mr. Nagaraja, who was an advocate here, shifted his practice to the Supreme Court two decades ago. The Government appointed him Additional Advocate-General to handle cases before the Supreme Court, some months ago. Mr. Nagaraja was active in theatre and cultural activities in Delhi. He was a former president of the Delhi Kannada Sangha. The Chief Minister, N. Dharam Singh, has said that his passing away is a loss to the entire State and not merely for Kannadigas living outside the State. The Information Minister, B. Shivaram, said that Mr. Nagaraja was one of those who had great concern for the State.
