ADILABAD: The Adilabad district Collector, R. Subba Rao, urged the officials to explore the possibility of arranging mid-day meals for students from nearby schools at one convenient venue. Instead of wasting effort on cooking lunch at different places, students of nearby schools could partake the mid-day meal at one selected school, he opined. The Collector was addressing the officials during coordination meetings in the last three days. He expressed his opinion on being told that only students up to Class VII were provided mid-day meals even in high schools.
