Rath yatra peaceful in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD:
The high-voltage rath yatra of Lord Jagannath ended peacefully in Ahmedabad and all other parts of Gujarat on Friday amidvery tight security.
In the city, Chief Minister Narendra Modi initiated the yatra by pulling the string of Lord Jagannath's rath. The yatra was welcomed by the leaders of all communities as thousands of people watched on the two sides of the 14-km route through the old city areas.
