HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) will organise a public meeting at Warangal on July 18 to explain the circumstances under which its Ministers had to resign from the Cabinet and its future programmes in the wake of the developments. Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, the TRS Legislature Party secretary, E. Rajender, and the Alair MLA, K. Nagesh, said the meeting would be addressed by the party chief, K. Chandrasekhara Rao, the Union Minister of State for Rural Development, A. Narendra, and leaders of a couple of national parties supporting the TRS. People would be mobilised in a big way from Warangal, Karimnagar and Medak. They accused the TDP of running a vilification campaign against the TRS since the resignation of the Ministers. It was unfortunate that the TDP suspected the commitment of the TRS to achieve statehood for Telangana even after the resignations. The party appeared not having learnt any lessons from its debacle in the last elections because of sticking to the stand on integrated State.
