Returning from his South Indian tour, the President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, has suggested to the Government the establishment of a Rashtrapati Nivas in the South, where he could stay for about three months a year to cultivate closer affinity with the people there. The President has been much impressed with the life of the people in the South. Offers for the establishment of a Rashtrapati Nivas have already been made to him by the authorities in Hyderabad and Mysore.
