Tejas Bakre starts with a win

NEW DELHI: Tejas Bakre started his campaign in the 27th International Open chess tournament in Oberwart (Austria) with a comfortable victory over local Wolfgang Stanka on Saturday.

The 10th seeded Bakre now plays another Austrian Alarich Lenz in this nine-round Swiss league tournament. The field of 166 includes 10 Grandmasters and 15 International Masters.
