STC to enter FMCG, IT products businesses
NEW DELHI:
The State Trading Corporation of India unveiled plans to start a new line of business in the area of importing FMCG goods and information technology products, an official release said here. The government-owned firm has unveiled a host of other initiatives and diversification plans, including import of non-ferrous metals, taking mining capacity on lease and entering into joint ventures for mining.
