Young man arrested for assaulting minor
NEW DELHI:
A 20-year-old man was arrested on Sunday on charges of allegedly kidnapping and criminally assaulting a minor at Sangam Vihar in South Delhi on July 5.
The accused, Zaheer, abducted the girl when she was on her way home from school.
Her father lodged a complaint the next morning, after the police zeroed in on Zaheer and arrested him after the girl was rescued from his clutches.
A case of abduction-cum-rape has been registered at the Sangam Vihar police station and further probe is on.
