ITI wins GSM network order
BANGALORE:
ITI has clinched an order worth Rs. 1,233 crore for setting up GSM mobile network of four lines in the west zone comprising four BSNL circles of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, giving a big fillip to its turnaround efforts.
Under the deal, ITI will install and commission three million lines within ten months on a turnkey basis. An order for one million lines worth Rs. 300 crore that was awarded last year is now nearing completion, ITI said.
