ADILABAD: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) criticised the Labour Minister, G. Vinod, for `ignoring' Adilabad even in the face of loss of seeds due to excessive rainfall. The Minister's failure to visit the district at this testing time for farmers was an example of his negligence, the TDP leaders charged. Addressing reporters here on Tuesday, TDP Adilabad district organising secretary, B. Goverdhan Reddy, and former State secretary, Younus Akbani, alleged that the Government was not providing immediate relief to the people whose houses were damaged in the rains. They also criticised the Relief Commissioner, B. Aravind Reddy, for failing to cover the loss-hit agriculture fields as part of his visit to Adilabad on Monday.
