Bomb hoax at Vidhana Soudha

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The Chief Minister's Home Office is reported to have received a call on Monday night saying that bombs have been planted in the Vidhana Soudha and in the office of a private airline.

On being alerted, at around 11.30 p.m., the personnel of the Bomb Detection Squad, along with tracker dogs, rushed to the Vidhana Soudha and conducted a search. No explosives were found and the call turned out to be a hoax, the police said.

The police did not find any bombs at the office of the airline in Jalahalli.
