Development works over in Anuppampatti panchayat

Development works worth Rs.61 lakhs had been completed in Anuppampatti panchayat so far, said the Collector, Rajesh Lakhoni.
Addressing a mass contact programme held in this panchayat near here on Wednesday, he said more facilities would be created during this year too.
The district administration would take steps to purchase land by adi dravida women under land purchase scheme. Beneficiaries had to identify land and submit a petition in this connection.
Only 260 out of total 1,200 houses had toilet facilities in the panchayat. People should come forward to construct toilets, utilising subsidy in order to help the district administration achieve total sanitation.
Earlier, the Collector disbursed welfare aid to beneficiaries.
