Kalam puts off Kerala trip

NEW DELHI: President Abdul Kalam has put off his scheduled visit to Kerala between July 17 and 19.

"The President has put off the visit respecting the sentiments expressed by the State Government in view of the State mourning following the demise of Communist Party of India leader P.K. Vasudevan Nair," S.M. Khan, press secretary to the President said here on Wednesday.
